As the Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, trade and non-trade to agreed payment terms to ensure continued deliveries and services from suppliers. Reconcile electronic statements using Excel VLookups to identify missing invoices not yet processed with Oracle. Review GRNI and supplier returns daily reports to maintain and reflect a true and accurate reflection in the accounts. What Do We Want as an Accounts Payable Administrator?We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator with demonstrable communication, system and organisational skills. Working closely with your team members and also having the ability to work on your own initiative, your role will involve the following;
• Inputting and matching supplier invoices to the purchase order using the Genysis ordering system ensuring any settlement discounts are maximised
• Clear (GRNI) accruals
• Using our Optical Character Recognition verify system, input supplier invoices, and assign approvers for final interface onto Oracle to pay suppliers for services provided.
• Identify invoice disputes from suppliers and liaise with internal departments to ensure queries are resolved and invoices are paid in a timely manner.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure credit notes are received for returned stocks and invoice discrepancies
• Understanding of Settlement Discounts
