Investigo are delighted to be exclusively partnering a Leicestershire based Client who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller, on a permanent basis.

The primary responsibility of the Financial Controller is to satisfy the management accounting, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting and other ad hoc finance related needs of the Executive Management Team.The individual will be expected to prepare the financial and monthly management accounts inline with group reporting deadlines, as well as assuming responsibility for managing the finance team. The Financial Controller will be required to add insight and value to improve on existing ways of working to deliver the operational efficiencies and controls that are needed to ensure timely, complete and accurate reporting. As the Group is on a strategic journey which will involve change and growth for all, the specific duties of the role are subject to change as the Group itself changes.

The successful Candidate is likely to be a Professionally Qualified Finance Manager/Controller with a minimum of 2 years PQE and a proven track record of financial accounting and commercial accounting for a professional services organisation. They will possess the ability to contribute to the setting of financial policies and recommendations, and ensuring that these are complied with throughout the operations, as well as experience at developing, implementing and monitoring financial accounting and related systems; directing the collection of financial and accounting information and the preparation of budgets, reports, forecasts and consolidated profit & loss reports.Strong technical competence in financial control - including areas of VAT and taxation, purchasing, credit policy and cash flow, costing and expense control and audits will be required for this role, and the incumbent will have proven leadership ability.Any experience of Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous, but general experience and interest in the effective use of ERP is a must have requirement.

Our Client is offering a salary of £60,000 - £65,000 + Benefits.
