Are you an experienced Finance Assistant with sound knowledge of a finance and accounts function? Would you like to join a forward-thinking construction company who have shown significant growth and are continuing to evolve?
This is a full -time, permanent position (Monday - Friday) and is office based in Andover. A negotiable salary of up to circa £30,000 per year -dependent upon your level of experience and qualifications.
To be considered for the Finance Assistant, you will have at least 3 years practical work experience in a finance/accounts related role, working knowledge of Sage and Xero, strong Microsoft Excel skills and a relevant qualification.
As a growing company, there is scope to develop the Finance Assistant into a Finance Manager. Perhaps you are looking to take the next step to managerial level (or have some management experience within this field) you will be remunerated accordingly.
It would be advantageous if you have worked within the construction industry in a finance/accounts related function, but not essential.
Your responsibilities include VAT preparation and submissions, credit control, sales & purchase ledger and processing high volumes of invoices. As you will be hitting the ground running, in a very busy environment, we can only consider applicants with this level of knowledge.
