We have a client - a large firm working in the construction-sector based in Leicestershire - who are seeking a commercial accounts assistant to work alongside their team of project managers on a full-time permanent basis (flexible hours/hybrid working). Reporting to the finance manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Producing monthly project cost reports,
Raising sales invoices & monthly applications,
Resolving outstanding/overdue debts,
Weekly payment forecast reporting to the Finance Manager,
Running project labour process & processing labour invoices,
Setting up new projects on their accounting system/CRM,
Liaising with our Project Managers
Any other adhoc related duties.
The Right Person

Previous experience working within a commercial accounting role,
Effective communication skills, confident in presenting financial information to senior management,
Proactive, meticulous, and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision, able to fit into a dynamic accounting team within a large organisation,
Excellent planning, organisation and deadline time keeping skills,
Good IT skills incl. Sage 50, MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint). Experience with CRM systems preferred.

Appointment Type: Permanent

£25,000 - £30,000 (subject to experience)
Hours: 37hrs per week (very flexible working hours start/finish times)
Hybrid working available
Holiday 20 Days + Bank Holidays
