Delegated Authority Client Account Manager - 100% working from home (if desired)

To £43,000 + benefits & annual bonus

  • Our client is a global service provider and consultancy practice which supports insurance businesses of all types in the UK and across the world.

    You will be joining a growing area of the company that provides a bespoke and/or packaged solution to stakeholders in the Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) sector and in particular Managing General Agents (MGA). You will work in partnership with new and existing clients to support their business and assist them in achieving their objectives.

    The Role

    The Account Manager role will support the existing account and compliance management oversight of each client, in order to ensure that clients remain compliant and help devise and embed the appropriate controls that drive professional behaviour, through practical and achievable good business practices.

    You will have close communications with all stakeholders, to ensure a good understanding of the business, its operations and activities. The position will work alongside Account and Compliance Manager(s) to develop relationships with clients and to attain understanding of regulatory and compliance matters in the delegated authority arena. The role is also supported by specialist regulatory and colleagues and external partners. The successful Account Manager will be expected to work with the Executive Team in order to support a wide range of responsibilities associated with day-to-day operations.

    Required experience and skill set:

  • Experience working within the DUA environment with an understanding of dynamics, operations and processes.
  • Some understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements associated with DUA activity.
  • Knowledge of the Lloyds / Company marketplace and international markets.
  • Client interaction and relationship management skills.
  • Organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Manage multiple workstreams
