A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of Commercial Finance to join a successful business. This role reports to the Finance Director and has five direct reports and several indirect reports. This Head of Commercial Finance role offers remote working options and extensive exposure across the business. This role in instrumental in key strategic, forward-looking decisions made to enhance the continued success of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Support the business by identifying possible opportunities for growth.
• Focus on creating strategies to enhance new propositions and marketing/sales campaigns.
• Manage Commercial Strategies.
• Monitor and maintain competitive customer pricing to optimise decisions to enhance profits and support commercial teams through review and approval of new business, bids and tenders.
• Create accurate pricing reporting to demonstrate the need for retention of customers
• Oversee and manage the financial plans for the Commercial, Marketing and Customer Retention functions including budgets, forecasts and 5 year plans.

Requirements:

• Qualified CIMA / ACA / ACCA
• Experience of managing a large team within a corporate environment
• Preferably experience in one or more of the following sectors - manufacturing, engineering or logistics.
