The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) has been mandated to assist a mid-tier firm to recruit for an Internal Audit Manager/Assistant Manager in Milton Keynes. You will become part of an expanding, driven and ambitious team, and report to senior management.
This role sits within the Public Sector team and you will be conducting tangible work with various clients such as in the NHS, central government, education, sports associations, healthcare, charities and local authorities. Your responsibilities will include delivering and managing internal audit and advisory projects, assisting your clients to mitigate identified risks in an efficient way. Among your responsibilities will also be the coaching and management of junior members of the team. This team will also offer you market-leading support and mentorship contributing to your career progression.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need:
- An ACA/ACCA/CIA/CIPFA qualification (or equivalent)
- At least 4 years of internal audit/risk management experience in the Public Sectors, or have a genuine interest in it
- Experience in conducting performance reviews and appraisals for junior members of staff
- Experience of managing multiple clients simultaneously
