As a market disruptor, who are genuinely revolutionising the travel sector, this business have highly-ambitious plans, combined with an impressive, knowledgeable and engaging Senior Leadership team.

With a proven offering and having just secured their series B funding, they are now seeking a strong, senior finance professional to join the SLT and help with the next chapter of their journey.

As the CFO you will be a key part of this.

If you have a successful track record working in SaaS, fast growth and venture-backed technology or logistics/travel companies and you are seeking a role with a future where you can make a tangible difference, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

You will be highly analytical and data-driven with strong commercial instincts and experience.

As with any business on this accelerated path, you will be pragmatic, adaptable and comfortable with a constantly changing environment.

With clear leadership, this company have an ethos of creating effective partnerships and you will work as a strong strategic partner internally with all areas of the business, and externally with investors, clients and partners.

It is advantageous to have experience in managing a sophisticated investor/lender base and in supporting a business through financings and/or other liquidity events with a well-honed perspective on the design, implementation and management of funding structures for fast growing venture enterprises.

With a culture of constant improvement, you will be reviewing, identifying and driving change to increase productivity and ensure robust controls are in place, allowing the finance function to be embedded with all material commercial decisions both at the planning and the implementation stage.

If you are collaborative in your approach and have a history of offering insights and tools that drive commercially oriented independent decision making across previous businesses, this could be the ideal match.

Your success will ultimately be defined by the performance of the finance function and building effective relationships with the Board of Directors, instinctively understanding the Board's perspective, and you will need to proactively provide the information and insight necessary for decision making.

Whilst collegiate in approach, you will need to understand the necessity of independence of thought and have both the strength of character, the moral compass and the nuanced personal skills necessary to challenge (upwards and downwards) when appropriate.

This is merely a 'taster' for this opportunity.
