Reporting to the Managing Director's of both businesses.
Salary : 45k+ annual bonus.

Job Role
Job role is the management of the entire finance function of Trodat UK Ltd, Trotec Laser Ltd and its associated companies and to provide the necessary support and expertise from a finance perspective to assist in the control and achievement of the company's sales and profit objectives as defined on an annual basis. Trodat is a manufacturing company, Trotec is a sales, service and distribution company of capital goods.
* Production of monthly management accounts for the two different businesses to extremely tight deadlines, using SAP R3
* Collation of subsidiary company accounts (UK and Ireland) and submission to group head office ensuring integrity and completeness of the data
* Reconciliation of management accounts to general ledger, managing accruals and prepayments
* Treasury Management to group policies and reconciliation of numerous bank accounts and to be a signatory
* Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, bad debt provisions
* Management of cost accounting, stock control, stock provisions, amortisation of demonstration stock
* Manage a team of 5 people based in Paisley
* To advise on best practice to departments using company SAP systems
* Management of company insurances, pension and related matters
* Management of company payroll
* To be the point of contact to support the management of each business in all matters financial, legal, property and company secretarial
* Ensure that all companies house accounting filing dates and reporting requirements are met and adhered to
* Management of audit requirements, production and filing of statutory accounts
* Adhoc financial duties as required
The Successful Applicant
* Qualified accountant (ICAS or ACCA).
* SAP system experience absolutely essential and also strong Excel.
* Manufacturing business background preferred.
* Ability to adhere to deadlines and adopt a challenging approach to deliver robust, accurate financial data and information to meet business needs.
* Available to travel to other business locations in the UK to support both businesses (North East England, West Midlands), driving license preferred .
* Excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to manage the finance function for a business from afar.
* Experience working for an international group preferred (Austria).

* Annual audit should be complete by the end of February
