A Government Trading Fund Agency owned by a Central Government body is currently recruiting for a Business Accountant to join their team on an initial 12-month basis with potential for a further 12-month extension. The postholder will provide in-house accountancy for the company and provide expert financial advice to a portfolio of internal customers to ensure finances are controlled and to allow effective financial management. They will undertake project based work, advise managers in preparation of investment appraisals and review company finances.

Ideal Candidate

• CCAB Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• Experience of month end, forecast and budget processes
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Experience of industry/in-house accountancy
