They are recruiting for a qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) to join them as Finance Manager. The position will be responsible for the production of month end management and statutory accounts. The successful candidate will also ensure that processes and controls work efficiently and effectively and will provide a range of support to the Financial Controller.Responsibilities of the Finance Manager include but are not limited to:
  • Coordination and production of month end UK and Group financial reports
  • Provision of a range of analysis
  • Review and validate outputs from finance business partners
  • Oversee a range of transactional functions and ensure sufficient provisioning is in place
  • Assist with the coordination and completion of statutory and tax compliance reporting
  • Provide support in systems implementations
  • Design operational procedures and processes that meet group standards and improve efficiency
  • Assist with the production of annual budgets
  • Production of cashflow forecasts
  • Support the FC in the continuous improvement of finance processes and drive efficiency across the UK finance department
  • Preparation of ad-hoc financial reporting requirements
  • Support the UK FC in completing annual impairment reviews on investments and intangibles
Key competencies of the Finance Manager:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to concisely interpret financial information
  • Experience of ERP systems (SAP/S4HANA experience advantageous)
  • Financial modelling skills essential (advanced excel)
  • IFRS and UK GAAP accounts experience
