What The Job Does

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Group FP&A Analyst to the join team as a crucial member of the Group FP&A team, reporting into the Senior Group FP&A Manager. The Snr. Group FP&A Analyst will be responsible for our weekly revenue reporting and supporting the Snr. Group FP&A Manager in preparation of the global budget, forecasting cycles and strategic plans. Not only will the right candidate be able to guide the Finance and Commercial teams through regular reporting, analysis, and forecasting, but they will be fundamental in building a world-class FP&A function.

Key Responsibilities

• Weekly revenue reporting ahead of the Senior Leadership Sales meetings
• Support in the timely delivery of the Group's annual Budget and quarterly re- forecasts
• Working with the Snr. Group FP&A Manager to deliver the 3-year Business Plan update
• Support with preparation of all internal financial reporting and Board packs
• Preparation and maintenance of external reporting templates for wider-finance team
• Being a storyteller, through planning, designing, and producing visual reports with commentary and insights to help build a world-class FP&A function
• Maintain Group store count
• Build strong relationships across Group and Regional Finance teams
• Continuously seek to improve processes, controls and the quality of deliverables
• Ad hoc projects as required by Snr. Group FP&A Manager or Director of Group FP&A
  

Requirements

• Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant - ACA/CIMA/ACCA equivalent
• Previous experience in Retail/FMGC desirable
• Excellent attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills with experience of building and working with models and large data sets
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Experience using Anaplan (or a similar forecasting system) desirable
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Positive 'can-do' attitude
• Flexible & proactive, with an eagerness to learn
• Highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively within a scaling business
