Are you an experienced Treasury Analyst/Assistant looking for a global Treasury Manager opportunity? Join us at Genus on a full-time permanent basis.


The main duties of the Treasury Manager include cash and FX management across Genus Plc and our subsidiary brands, with responsibilities for Barclays.net and HSBC.net system management. You'll be involved in the final decision-making for diverse commodity hedging to ensure the continuity of business and risk management. You'll join a small and centralised team including a Treasury Assistant and Group Head of Tax and Treasury working in the office just two days a week (unless you'd prefer more frequent work). Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Optimise the use and maximise the visibility of cash globally through analysis, management strategies and communication
  • Prepare and review monthly foreign exchange reports, suggest hedging opportunities, place approved trades and review group consolidated differences, investigate unexplained outcomes
  • Add and monitor cash pool positions and suggest appropriate borrowing/repayment measures as required for the efficient operation of the pooling structures
  • Assist in developing ancillary business opportunities with the banking group, including migrating the transactional balances of subsidiaries to the Group relationship banks
  • Prepare net settlement contras as required
  • Provide monthly flash numbers for interest and net debt. Prepare the interest variance analysis
  • Monitor compliance with all covenants and undertakings in the Group Facility agreement. Prepare half-yearly compliance certificates
  • Prepare interest forecast for the budget process and agree on budget cash flow and net debt. Manage Group cash and net debt at the external reporting points
  • Prepare Treasury notes for the Group's annual and interim financial statements
  • Assist in drafting Treasury papers and presentations
