Brewster Partners are working with an exciting company who are based in Nottingham. We are looking for a commercially minded Accountant who has experience in Management Accounts, Financial Accounts, Business Partnering and FP&A. This is an amazing role for someone who is looking for that next level of being a Management Accountant, where you will be exposed to a commercial and strategic side of the business with a succession plan. You will be working closing with the Finance Director who will be a mentor and help with your development to get you to the next level. The finance team is very forward thinking and they have invested heavily into the best technology and they are always open to new ways of working.

The Role:

Preparing and ensuring the accurate management reporting on a weekly and daily basis
Reviewing and investigating key profit and loss and balance sheet variances compared to budget, forecast and prior year, providing a commentary to the Finance Business Partner
Preparing and posting all appropriate journal adjustments, maintaining full support and back-up
Providing accurate and full supporting documentation for audit purposes, liaising with the external auditors as required
Working closing with the senior management on the investment side of the business
Supporting the Finance Director when it comes to working practices and automation
Ensure that all appropriate balance sheet accounts are reconciled to appropriate back up on a timely basis
Working with the junior Accountant and helping with their developmentThe Person:

Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
Strong accounts background
Strong technical skills
Candidates must be highly ambitious who are wanting development
Candidates must be able to use Excel to a high standardThe Offer:
