You will be liaising with 3rd party payroll providers both in the UK and in Europe, as well as being the focal point for queries internally that your colleagues may have.

On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following; Review of current processes with the identification of process improvements where processes can be changed/improved. Act as an autonomous payroll subject matter expert for the business as a whole. You will be responsible for the management of the firms payroll from start to finish. The Requirements You will be a highly experienced and forward thinking payroll manager with a proven background of working in a complex and intricate business (ideally manufacturing, FMCG or engineering). The company seek an individual who can be the face of payroll for the business in an ever changing landscape. Dealing with employees who are not computer facing and who are reassured by face to face contact is a vital competency to be successful in a role of this nature. There are both UK and European employees within the business so exposure to multi-currency payroll would be significantly beneficial. Our client works with a number of 3rd party suppliers (the likes of which are Ceridian/SDworx etc), so prior exposure of working with these companies would be distinctly advantageous.

COVID19 statementOur client will offer a hybrid working model which will translate into a 60% working in the office and 40% working from home. This model will need to have flexibility in it from both sides as some times the role will be required to be office based 5 days a week once week, but will be flexed back in others.
