BUSINESS ANALYST

Reporting to the Business Solutions Lead, the Business Analyst will be responsible for the investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes. This includes identification of improvements, requirements, processes, cost/benefit analysis and other documentation, including standard operating procedures. In addition, you will provide advice on potential impacts and possible options to enable the business to make informed decisions regarding proposed system and process changes.

With Council currently undergoing an ERP replacement, this is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to cover the breadth of a driven organisation by applying your knowledge and passion of both business analysis and process analysis tools and methodologies. Coupled with your excellent people skills and business acumen you will be working directly with key stakeholders ensuring systems and processes are continuously improved so will have proven ability at developing and maintaining effective relationships at all levels of the organisation.

To be successful in this role you will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a comparable role. You'll also be able to demonstrate experience in process analysis and management. Experience or working knowledge of business systems, project management lifecycle and IT architecture and strategy is desirable.
