Accounts Payable Clerk

• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, coding and recording accounts payable data
• Review correctness and completeness of submitted documents for AP and Expenses
• Request approval for vendor invoices and employees expense reports
• Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures for AP, Expense Reports and Cash Disbursements
• Process and maintain purchase orders to match with vendor bills
• Accounts Payable ledger and benefits reconciliation; Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
• Review completeness of timesheet and time clock prior to posting
• Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
• Understand expense accounts and cost centers
• Other duties or tasks assigned by the Controller

Skills & Qualifications

• 2-5 years of proven high volume AP clerk working experience
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and AP processes
• Microsoft Office (proficiency in Excel preferred)
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
