What's so exciting about this role?

These roles sit within flexicommercial (part of hummgroup). We are looking for students, studying a finance related degree with at least 18 months remaining, to join us on a casual basis, working on average 3 days a week. You will provide general support to the flexicommercial team across Account Management, Credit, Settlements, Asset Lifecycle and Accreditations with a core focus on efficiently servicing the needs of finance brokers to facilitate their customers' equipment finance needs. You will be responsible for stepping in and assisting across the team wherever necessary to maintain service levels to brokers and their customers. You will receive on the job training across the various teams working in our office in The Rocks, Sydney.

What Does An Average Day Look Like?

No day is average, but here's an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:
  • Use your entry level to intermediate finance knowledge to provide administrative and general support as required to deliver an exceptional broker and customer experience across flexicommercial. This is likely to include
  • Working with the Sales team, including Business Development Managers and Account Managers to facilitate finance broker applications on behalf of their customers.
  • Supporting the Credit team to process and decision customer applications efficiently.
  • Assisting the Settlements team to review and settle transactions.
  • Helping brokers and customers with information requests as part of the Asset Lifecycle team.
  • Working collaboratively with Credit, Sales Operations and Sales to accredit brokers and suppliers.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects as required.
  • Assist in the implementation of new practices and programs to meet organisational and broker needs.
  • Assist with the implementation of marketing plans and promotions to brokers.
  • Communicating with brokers to assist them either directly in their requirements or referring them to the appropriate department.
