Job Description

The role supports the business through the provision of commercial advice and management accounting expertise, ensuring financial insight is provided to the Generation, Development and Wholesale leadership teams and the wider business.

You will lead the management and maintenance of core processes and relationships with operating teams to ensure the Generation, Development and Wholesale teams' expenditure is controlled and managed, and expenditure management issues identified are resolved.

You'll be working closely with the Financial Control team within Strategy and Finance to deliver insights into monthly result meetings, quarterly forecast Executive updates and annual Group business planning processes.

You will apply a continuous improvement mindset and identify ways to develop and improve Meridian's financial systems, applications and reporting. You'll foster a culture of collaboration, co-operation and proactivity with our assets and environment at the core.

This role can be based in either Christchurch or Wellington.
