SNI Companies is partnered with an energy agency seeking a Staff Accountant. Support the Finance leadership in carrying out management and corporate accounting responsibilities by maintaining accurate financial information and related reporting, and ensuring internal controls are preserved.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Control the invoicing process for sales of revenue management software solutions to hospitality-based clients
* Communicate with clients (internal and external) to resolve invoicing questions
* Apply revenue recognition criteria to record revenue on client sales
* Assist with the Monthly General Ledger close
* Assist with the preparation of the external reports and filings, including the 10Qs and 10ks
* Assist with the external auditors*Prepare various analytical reports for management as required
* Assist in preparing month-end closing reports

Preferred Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
* Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Masters in Taxation, preferred, candidates considered
* 2-3 years general accounting experience
* Experience working in communications or marketing preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Must have good communication skills
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
* Strong analytic abilities
* Must be goal-driven and have strong desire to succeed.

Location: Cherry Hills Village (South Denver) Hybrid option
