We are recruiting for a senior auditor to assist with the management andoversight of auditing projects for our auditing team. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the efficient and accurate completion audits, managing junior auditors, and maintaining levels of auditing quality and financial accuracy for the company

To ensure success as a senior auditor, you should have extensive experience in auditing procedures and be confident in delegating tasks to other members of your team. A top-notch senior auditor should have significant project management and auditing experience, and be comfortable leading auditingprojects of various sizes.+

We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, analytical with anattention to detail. This person should also be a logical thinker and a strong team player with the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines.

Senior Auditor Responsibilities:
  • Planning, designing, execution and delivery of assurance projects and necessary tasks to be completed;
  • Assigning roles to various members of the auditing team;
  • Support, coordinate and train junior auditors;
  • Responsible for providing support, maintaining communication and updating manager on progress;
  • Perform various risk and control assessments;
  • personnel.Ensuring standards of quality and accuracy are maintained in audits and
  • Lead, develop and manage the team of junior auditors;
  • Train and guide junior auditors;
  • Assisting in the auditing process as and when required;
  • Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties;
  • Remaining up to date with developments in relevant legislation and the field in general
  • Reporting auditing issues and assisting in resolving them
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel


  • A bachelor's degree in finance and accounting;
  • Completed articles;
  • At least 3 years' experience as an auditor, with a working knowledge of different accounting software;
  • Knowledge of auditing best practices, such as IFRS / IFRS for SMEs / GAAP and internal control measures;
  • An in-depth understanding of tax, business compliance, and financial regulations;
  • Knowledge of project and team management principles;
  • Great understanding and usage of MS Office programs (especially Word, Excel);
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in Afrikaans and English.
