Qualifications
  • Education and Experience Required: High school diploma or G.E.D, and 0-3 years previous experience.
  • Preferred: High school diploma or G.E.D, plus additional or specialized training, and zero to four years of previous experience


Job Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Balances general or subsidiary ledgers. .
  • Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating simple business transactions. .
  • Verifies and posts details of simple business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals account to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases. .
  • Prepares vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records, and reviews for accuracy.
  • Prepares reports to show receipts, expenditures accounts receivable and payable, and various other items pertinent to the operation of a business..
  • Reconciles general ledger accounts with various registers.
  • Extracts general ledger information.
  • Reconciles bank statements.
  • Codes data for input to financial data processing system according to company procedures.
