Assistant Management Accountant

We're recruiting for a varied, exciting and challenging role within our existing Finance team at Americold Whitchurch. Under the guidance of the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager you will be able to develop your reporting skills, cross-functional department working relationships and have a tangible impact on the key business decisions made.

Responsibilities include

• Production of weekly AOPS and monthly KPI reports for the leadership team and group reports as appropriate.
• Support Commercial team within Whitchurch and Spalding on customer forecasting and linking this into the monthly financial forecast
• Customer Profitability Analysis
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasting process for Whitchurch and Spalding
• Assist with the month end management accounts preparation
• Preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts with underlying systems and records
• Purchasing and Cost control initiatives
• Update of WMS system for pricing changes, creation of new accounts and housekeeping duties of inactive accounts including any credit review process
