Kāinga Ora have plans to build over 1000 new warm, dry, healthy homes in eastern Porirua. To support them in the delivery of essential infrastructure and land development works, construction and infrastructure experts Higgins, Brian Perry Civil, Fletcher Infrastructure, Goodmans, Beca, Harrison Grierson and Orogen have partnered alongside Kāinga Ora, Porirua City Council and Ngāti Toa Rangatira to create Te Aranga Alliance - a unique way of delivering complex and multidisciplinary programmes of work.
An exciting opportunity is now available for a Project Accountant to join the Higgins Green Team based at the Alliance in Porirua.

The Role:As the Project Accountant, you will assist with the document control, capturing project costs, managing change controls and all financial reporting. You will also support commercial management of subcontractors & suppliers.
About you:• A tertiary qualification in Commerce/Accounting• Be CA qualified or working towards CA• Have some experience under your belt particularly around financial accounting reporting and business advisory• Strong attention to detail as accuracy is key• Be a clear and confident communicator• Previous experience in the construction industry would be advantageous
