Principle Valuation is a national, full-service healthcare consulting firm specializing in capital asset management and valuation.  Our valuation experts have successfully helped more than 500 hospitals and healthcare systems across the United States, and we have only scratched the surface.  With the tremendous growth our firm has been experiencing, we are seeking an exceptional Manager – Valuation Consulting to join our phenomenal team.

About the Role

As an experienced consultant, you will lead multidisciplinary client engagements and manage a team of consultants.  You will plan and execute client strategy while managing project quality and financials.  In addition to reviewing and improving our current tools and methodologies, you will also utilize your expertise to help design innovative, more efficient service standards and service delivery processes.

Responsibilities

  • In concert with senior leadership, define, plan and execute service delivery strategy, standards and processes, continually refining and improving as appropriate.
  • Plan, organize and manage service delivery model to ensure client needs and service agreements are satisfied.
  • Develop production budgets for the completion of engagements, including staffing and project timelines.
  • Determine staffing strategies and goals, consistently assessing performance results against targets and taking corrective measures where necessary.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project workplans to ensure engagements are delivered with quality outcomes, on time and at or below budget.
  • Establish internal and external communication strategy related to engagement production and delivery, up to and including kick-off and project completion.
  • Create strong client partnerships, developing trusted advisor relationship while maintaining personable interactions.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals, and assessments; giving special attention to scope, schedule and budget.
  • Respond to client-related inquiries, issues, concerns, and requests, and collaborate with other practice leaders and executives as appropriate.
  • Maintain strong awareness of firm services, industry trends and relevant regulations.
  • Set performance standards for staff consultants; monitor, analyze and communicate monthly utilization data.
  • Bring opportunities to upsell and/or cross sell other firm services to the attention of the managing partner.

Valuation Consulting

  • Manage a variety of engagements which may include, but not be limited to, asset lifing, replacement costs, fair values and liquidation values of machinery and equipment assets for healthcare facilities.
  • Establish client service quality standards and ensure production is maintained at an acceptable level.
  • Maintain exceptional client relationships and ensure quality of client deliverables meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Serve as point of contact for inquiries related to scheduling, production, and issue resolution.
  • Communicate regulatory, financial, and complex strategic issues in a clear, concise, and relevant manner.

People Development

  • Develop and execute recruiting plans and strategies.
  • Staff and manage client engagements, managing costs to optimal level.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, mentoring, and developing staff as appropriate.
  • Conduct mid-year and annual performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.   MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 7-10 years consulting/management experience, preferably within a management consulting or Big 4 environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the aspiration, charisma, and business savvy to advance to Executive Leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare, including accounting, reimbursement, and capital budgeting process for hospital systems.
  • Sound understanding of the service delivery process with demonstrated experience managing client engagements and relationships.
  • Meticulous in the management of project commitments, risks and issues. Excellent business acumen and presentation mastery, coupled with poise, presence and confidence.
  • Ability to represent Principle Valuation at all client levels, specifically the C-Suite.
  • Exceptional organization skills with proven success managing multiple engagements, priorities, and teams simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated record of effective leadership, including success managing, mentoring and developing staff.
  • Ability to gain the trust of clients and peers through relationship building and authenticity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as solid written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to commit to 30% to 50% travel
