Manager, State and Local Tax (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Washington, DC. Provide state and local tax advice and support to clients. Assist companies with their tax planning and accounting needs by recommending solutions that support their business objectives and ensuring their filing positions are consistent with the states’ applicable tax laws and rules. Supervise staff, monitor workloads and provide feedback in a timely manner. Transform risk and compliance related to state and local taxes into a business advantage by aligning their state tax plan with the business strategy.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.   

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent Accounting, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax, Law, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

Certification(s) required: Must have US CPA or foreign equivalent, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

• Must have experience in providing solutions in at least one of the following areas: partnership tax compliance, public accounting practices, production of tax returns and their supporting work papers for the financial services industry, audit defense, and tax consulting;
• Preparing partnership tax forms, including K-1s, FAS 109, FIN 48, tax controversy and tax structuring; and
• Working with large, complex data sets and leveraging data visualization tools or build models

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Travel required up to 20%.
