Your main role is to provide support to the business unit by applying accounting principles in monitoring and analysing financial data, maintain accurate records of financial transactions, and provide accurate accounting information to the business unit to support business decisions.

The successful candidate's duties include, but are not limited to:

• Analyse, summarize, and account for financial transactions
• Ensure costs remain within budget / planned expenditure
• Provide recommendations based on customer and client needs, current information, and trends
• Adhere to financial reporting guidelines
• Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions
• Manage payments and invoicing
• Provide accounting information to support business performance
• Support financial decision-making information by collecting, analysing, and reporting financial data

Education Requirements:

• BCom in Accounting/Finance or relevant Diploma

Job Requirements and Skills:

• Minimum 2 years post qualification experience
• Insurance experience will be beneficial
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong management personality
• Adaptable to an ever-changing environment
• Detail orientated with excellent analytical skills
• Able to manage a team as well as work independently
