It is an exciting time to be engaged in the health sector and this is a great opportunity to become part of a dynamic and supportive team working for New Zealand's largest employer, Te Matau a Māui Hawke's Bay, part of Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand. The work environment would best be described as fast-paced and high performing and we are looking to add an innovative Accounting professional to join the team.

About your new role

Reporting to the Head of Business Partners, you will work within our Management Accounting team providing financial insight, and strategic and operational input as well as assisting with comprehensive and accurate financial reporting.

To be considered for this role you will ideally have:

  • a Tertiary qualification in a Business Degree or similar
  • st least two years' work experience or post-tertiary studies in a relevant field
  • think laterally and develop innovative solutions to problems
  • ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others
  • cope with change in a complex environment
  • strong verbal and written communication skills.
