They are seeking an Assistant accountant to join their team.

The Role

This role is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant who can take ownership of the whole function. Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, in a team of 4. This is a fast paced and dynamic environment and requires someone who can work autonomously and take initiative.

Duties

• Assist in managing Accounts payable, ensuring payments are done in time
• Monitoring Accounts Receivables & follow up on outstanding payments.
• Weekly Bank & Credit card reconciliations
• Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist & support in month end close including preparation of financial reports for review.
• Tax reconciliations including WHT, GST, FBT payments & returns.
• Liaise with production teams to create budgets for various projects.
• Monitor production expenses in relation to budgets.
• Generate regular financial reports & inform stakeholders of project financial status.
• Assist with Audit preparation.

Your Profile

The ideal profile will be someone with atleast 3 years similar experience, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Good communication skills & the ability to liaise with external stakeholders & SLT.
• Attention to detail.
• Similar industry experience will be advantageous.
