Your new company
An established media organisation based in West London are looking for a qualified Financial Controller on an initial 6 month basis with the potential to go permanent. This is an ideal opportunity for the right candidate to join growing organisation in a professional team.

Your new role

• Preparation of full profit and loss accounts for our trading entities
• Manage cash flow by tracking transactions
• Review and submit monthly results to Senior Management Team (SMT)
• Manage direct reports (currently 6 team members) 2 senior accountants, AR, SL & payroll
• Create the annual operating plan, with input from SMT
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual budgets including reviewing all financial plans/forecasts and budgets to look for cost reduction opportunities
• Financial statement preparation
• Prepare for statutory audits and tax returns including collaborating with auditing services to ensure compliance with all regulations

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will be a Qualified accountant with experience at a senior level within a SME. Experience of cash-flow is a must for this role. You will also have management experience and leadership skills with solid written and verbal communication skills.

What you'll get in return
This is an initial 6 month role with the potential to become permanent. It is paying between £350 - £400 p/d. This role has the potential to expand and lead to a FD role in the future.
