Locatiion: Bangalore
Roles and
Responsibilities:
1. Accurate in Payroll administration and response management
2. Payroll and labor compliance
3. Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system
upgrades
4. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
5. Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
6. Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams
7. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
8. Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions
9. Lead HR projects like compensation plans revisions
10. Implement functional HRMS and internal databases across all departments and locations
11. Oversee our payroll and performance evaluation systems
12. Design company policies and procedures
13. Review and update our employment contracts and agreements
14. Prepare budgets by department
15. Track key HR metrics like cost per hire and retention rates
16. Manage internal communication projects (like job satisfaction surveys)
17. Measure the effectiveness of our benefits programs and recommend improvements
18. Coordinate employee training and development initiatives
19. Ensure our recordkeeping and data processing procedures comply with GDPR requirements
Requirements:
. Proven experience as a payroll or similar role
. Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws
. Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes
. Familiarity with payroll software/ HRIS (e.g. SAP, ADP, Kronos) and MS Office (especially
Excel)
. A keen eye for detail
. Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
. Work experience as a Head of HR Operations or similar role
. Experience with Human Resources Information Systems including payroll tools
. Experience in designing compensation and benefits programs
. Good knowledge of labor legislation
