About the role
Our client is looking for an ambitious Assistant Accountant / Accountant to join their accounting team. The role and the business is suited to someone who is hard-working, has a positive attitude and has a few years experience in an Assistant Accountant or Accountant role and can join the business on short notice. They do pride themselves of having an excellent working culture & supportive environment. The role is also paying an attractive, above-market salary.
The company has two offices, so the successful candidate can chose the office to best suit them. One office is in Western Sydney and hte other is in North Sydney. They also provide hybrid working arrangements and are very flexible with hours too.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations & reporting
- Bank reconciliations
- Month-end closing process
- Fixed asset register
- Cost allocation
- Journal entries and postings
- Profit & Loss reviews
- 2 years of experience in Assistant Accountant or Accountant role
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong debit and credit knowledge
- Experience using a ERP system
- Degree qualified
- Excellent communication skills
