As a Business Analyst in the Consumer Data Right (Open Banking) Team, you will drive optimal user experiences by mapping business and technology requirements as well as working as the conduit between business and development teams. You will work closely on the implementation of Macquarie's Open Banking services in line with the evolving regulation under the Consumer Data Right (CDR).
As we move towards an Open Banking environment and continue to rapidly expand our platform connectivity services, we need people who can drive and shape our business. Key responsibilities
- Produce business requirements in an Agile development environment
- Engagement of product, business, legal and systems specialists to develop stories and define acceptance criteria
- Define customer journeys and communications
- Execution of business acceptance testing
- Engagement with the digital technical teams
- Documentation of key implementation decisions and regulatory interpretations.
- Data mapping between source systems, transformations and API servicing layer.
About you
- Business analysis or similar experience preferred, but not essential
- Ability to think critically and have a willingness to learn
- Strong understanding of financial services, deposits and lending products, and the system development life cycle
- Experience in data connection services is preferable including the implementation of microservices and Kafka connectors
- Experience in working with digital delivery teams under an Agile delivery model
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- A self-starter with a desire to effect meaningful and value-add change
- Ability to multi-task across concurrent projects or capabilities
- Experience working in small teams
- Ability to bridge the gap between business and customer requirements and technical solutions
