Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks associated with Financial and Management accounting / reporting, Treasury, Reporting and Tax Compliance. The beauty of working in a medium size team is the scope of this role, and the variety it offers. No two days will be the same!

The opportunity to get involved in process improvement will broaden your professional network within the business. Working in a hybrid model of both work from home and in the office, this position is 5 days a week.
Some of the key tasks you will be responsible for:

• Financial Accounting including producing consolidated trial balances
• Month end and year end process, balance sheet recs and accrual accounting
• Management reporting including preparing monthly reports and commentary. Assist with budgeting and forecasting, expense recovers, and fund admin cost analysis.
• Preparing reports to shareholders on consolidated results and fund under management
• Tax and Compliance including preparation of tax provisions, review of quarterly GST returns and assist in preparation of FBT returns
• Treasury activities including cashflow forecasting and assist in fee calculations
• Process Improvement

This role would suit someone seeking their first move from Chartered or an experienced Financial Services Accountant. CA or CPA qualified. Strong excel skills including demonstrated experience in financial modelling are essential. Successful candidates will be confident communicators, who are willing to get their hands dirty and contribute to a successful team.
