Robert Half are currently assisting a great client in West Perth who are urgently looking for some short term/interim assistance with their Accounts Receivable function while they recruit for the permanent position themselves; there is also a high chance that the successful candidate will be considered alongside their own applicants.
Throughout the time that it is temp there is the expectation to be in the office, however should you stay with them long term they do offer, one day a week working from home. There is some flexibility with hours but they are really looking for someone eager and with a strong team player mentality to take ownership of the end to end process.
The duties for this role will include:
Raising of invoices, cash receipting, sending out customer statements, debt recovery, handling any queries that arise, management of the debtor ledger, account reconciliations, month end tasks as well as other adhoc duties.
This is a full function AR opportunity with plenty to keep you busy and varying complexities involved depending on the specific client. To be successful, prior AR knowledge is a must but along with organisation, attention to detail, time management and a positive attitude.
