What's the role?

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays an integral role by leading Talent Acquisition & driving Engagement initiatives in collaboration with the management team. The HRBP would also be responsible for ensuring effective working relationships with the shared leadership team, as well influencing & challenging the senior management team in the development and delivery of their people plans in support of the achievement of the business area and supporting HR strategies. This position will also be responsible for overseeing delivery of key talent and engagement projects associated with major change programs.

What does the role involve?
  • Responsible to build strong working relationships, trust and credibility with stakeholders and leaders in the business
  • Working across all aspect of the function's remit, the HR BP is responsible for the implementation and success of HR policies and initiatives for talent, people development and engagement
  • Assisting and supporting Team Leaders across the business on organizational structure and design, building strong talent pipelines
  • Work in partnership with the business to identify employees with high potential, develop career paths in consideration of key roles for succession planning and self-development as well as monitor the implementation of the plan
  • Act as Champion for the HR operating model (MOMENT), its vision & purpose and facilitate the effective way in which the business is serviced.
  • Work closely on People Development agenda; maintain & develop succession plan data, ensure qualitative and effective Development Discussion across the MO
  • Manage the MO talent acquisition strategy which will aim to enable a fast and effective TS ramp up for the "Perfect Start"; lead sourcing initiative for strategic programs like "Global Outperformer program" by building and maintaining a network of potential candidates through proactive market research, effective branding campaigns, job marketing initiatives & employee referral programs & key university partnerships
  • Tracking and monitoring progress and escalating business risks where appropriate and ensure smooth and timely completion of the project
  • Implement processes, programs and systems in support of talent management strategy ensuring superior customer experience, effectiveness, and efficiency. This includes understanding needs of stakeholders to validate requirements and deliverables, manage project plans and schedules, and manage change associated with new processes and programs.
  • Execute and measure effectiveness of talent programs via data tracking and analysis
  • Reviewing our internal and external hiring processes to ensure equitable practices across the organization
  • Recommending improvements to the overall people cycle to improve the employee experience
  • Creates communications regarding MOMENT and People Engagement initiatives
  • Manage the Global Employee Opinion Survey (GEOS) full cycle as the MO Coordinator, including preparation, communication, deployment, reporting and action planning process for Global Employee Opinion Survey

What you need is:
  • Degree or above in Human Resources, business, marketing or related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a HR function with ideally 3 years min. experience as a HRBP in a MNC or similar sized organization.
  • Proven success in the past in driving HR topics including employee engagement, talent management and acquisition and people development.
  • Strategic mindset with ability to partner and influence with key stakeholders in business.
  • Great in articulation and connecting the dots with strong project management skills.
  • Aspire to develop a long-term career and grow with the company.
  • Experience in HRIS platforms such as Workday or Success Factors desirable
  • Experience in TA platforms such as Umantis, Pymetrics and Beamery desirable
  • Highly detail-oriented, analytic, energetic and self-motivated individual.
  • Comfortable working in an environment in which businesses processes, tools, deadlines etc. are continually evolving.
  • Resourceful in overcoming roadblocks that hinder processes.
  • Ability to prioritize, work on multiple tasks simultaneously and manage stakeholders within a matrix organization.
  • High degree of organizational and time management skills; able to set and manage expectations and competing priorities.
  • New Zealand working rights.
  • Open to mobility - interested in pursuing international opportunities within Human Resources and other areas of the business
