Payroll Specialist -
Seeking to join a successful well known organization. The Payroll Specialist will need to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of payroll, including record keeping and reporting. The Payroll administrator will be responsible for and not limited to: - Manage time and attendance work flow to ensure all time sheets, time off requests, and other payroll documents are received timely and are accurate, complete and in compliance with state and federal payroll standards. Follow-up with supervisors and managers on any missing or incomplete documentation. Ensure final records are archived per standard operating procedures. - Set-up and pay garnishments in compliance with respective authorities. - Respond to all Federal, State, and other agency requests for compliance documentation (wage orders, garnishments, tax levies, etc.) Ideal candidate must have 5+ years• experience processing multi-state payroll, preferably in transportation industry, strong knowledge of federal and state regulations and ability to deal sensitively with confidential material. Knowledge of HR Labor info and high volume experience is a HUGE PLUS!
