Job Summary : Responsible for overseeing billing and accounts receivable functions through design implementation and maintenance of department procedures, while promoting an energetic and positive environment of continuous improvement and development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee billing and accounts receivable department (2+ direct reports) to maintain compliance with GAAP.
- Collaborate with accounts receivable, billing, and customer service departments as needed to ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manage and reconcile revenues, including ecommerce data and accruals needed for proper revenue recognition.
- Prepare periodic internal reports required for budgeting, cash management, and financial analysis.
- Manage the collection of documentation for returned goods and customer credits.
- Assist as needed with quarterly reviews and annual audits including preparation and maintenance of supporting work papers.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree specialized in accounting and 2-3 years experience in general accounting.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities.
- Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings and interact at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrate versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within a changing work environment.
- Proficient in Excel at intermediate/advanced level.
- Microsoft NAV experience is preferred.
- Preferred experience with consignment sales.
