PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Lead Accounts Receivable Representative in Pittsburgh, PA.

Summary:
The Lead Accounts Receivable Representative interacts with our customers to resolve internal and/or external issues delaying invoice payment. They lead all aspects of problem solving and facilitate conversations with responsible parties. This involves leading the customer interaction from invoicing to cash collection and being the primary contact for problem resolution in their portfolio. They would handle a portfolio size of 200 - 400 accounts that total an upward of $20M.

Job Descriptions:
• Communicate professionally, both written and verbal
• Effectively manage a large portfolio of customer accounts (200-400 customers) via email communication and phone contact
• Have a strong understanding of customer billing platforms and internal systems that allow problem identification and resolution
• Proficiency in key Excel functions that will drive collection efficiencies for large customers
• Leverage relationships across departments and business units to improve problem resolution and drive completion of action plans
• Use business insight to proactively identify problems, potential risk, formulate sound solutions and develop and deliver action plans
• Drive accountability by calling out delinquency issues within the customer and clients
• Ability to react to and efficiently run changes in priorities based on business need
• Formulate a course of action to consistently accomplish or outperform established goals
• Recognize and call out changes in customer behavior that indicate increased risk of delinquency or default
• Works well with independently and in a team setting, following guidelines and company policy
• Support development and implementation of on-boarding content for new team members
• Use Practical Process Improvement techniques to identify and solution problem root cause
• Mentor and support other colleagues
• Ability to adjust work priorities as the business dictates to support customers, sales and other areas of the organization
• Complete daily work with intensity and a goal-oriented mentality
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years of business-to-business collections experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to work with effectively with other team members in an open environment
• Customer service oriented, demonstrating the ability to put the customer first
• Proficient problem solving & analytical skills vital to reconcile customer trade accounts
• Possesses a high degree of integrity
• Demonstrate proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective communication via both phone and email
