Working as part of our Journey Beyond Group, you play an integral role in supporting our business to share special places and shape lasting memories.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the GM Finance and Administration you will provide support to ensure the delivery of high-quality reporting, planning and analysis, process and internal control improvement. Continual improvement is also required to ensure the best service to our stakeholders (internal and external).

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Internal and External reporting, including 3-way performance reporting for the JBG Board, Bank and Owners (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)
  • JBG Group Taxation compliance, including support in preparing Group Consolidated Income tax returns and overall statutory compliance with tax obligations
  • Yearly audit participation, including Financial Statement preparation (Stat Accounts)
  • Cash Flow reporting, including weekly and rolling 13 week forecasting
  • Internal control identification, review and implementation of improvements
  • Monthly P&L delivery and performance monitoring, including journals, analysis and reconciliations
  • Preparation of group budgets and forecasts in accordance with group deadlines
  • Assist management in interpreting and analysing variances to plans, budgets and forecasts
  • Other duties as reasonable

YOUR KEY ATTRIBUTES:

To be successful you will have tertiary qualifications in Business/Accounting with CPA/CA (desirable). You will have strong experience and understanding of finance systems and be able to communicate this with other finance function staff.

You will be reliable, professional, organised and show initiative, while also demonstrating a strong customer service orientation and have an exceptional business acumen.

In support of the above you will also have:
  • High level numeracy and reconciliation skills with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with figures
  • Advanced spreadsheet capabilities to include presentation of numerical information in tabular and graphical formats
  • Flexibility to set and change priorities as work demands
