My client, a solid financial services company, is looking for a young Accountant to join their team and work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a remote position, so you should have excellent time management, but you will have to go into the office from time to time.

Responsibilities:

* Full accounting to trial balance (Pastel)
* Payroll (Sage payroll professional)
* All SARS returns - VAT201, EMP201, EMP501 reconciliation, Provisional Tax and Income Tax.
* Preparation for Audits: asset registers, leave provision, etc
* Assisting auditors with queries during audits.
* Checking of payments (Standard Bank business online)
* Supplier reconciliations
* VAT recons
* Maintaining inventory on Pastel
* ROE submission
* UIF Declarations
* Completing UIF claim forms
* Preparation of management accounts (Income statement and cash flow statement)
