This role will encompass a range of core Finance Assistant duties to support the Finance Manager and division.

Client Details

Due to a recent upturn in workload this client are now looking to expand the Finance team and bring a Finance Assistant on board.

Description

• Monitor outstanding purchase orders, escalating where needed
• Producing weekly and monthly client statements in the required formats
• Raising weekly regional sales orders
• Invoicing clients in an accurate and timely manner
• Importing the Invoice file into Sage to ensure ledgers are accurate and up to date.
• Producing and reviewing the monthly hours reconciliation to ensure all services are invoiced
• Producing accurate and timely reports and distributing to key personnel
• Assisting with period end duties
• Assisting with subcontractor reconciliations
• Liaising with both the Finance and other departments to ensure the integrity of standing data is maintained.
• Credit Control, monitoring accounts, liaising with customers to ensure monies are received within agreed terms, escalating where needed
• Receipting daily cash received

• Initiative and self-motivation
• Previous experience of working within a finance department and within credit control/ sales ledger
• Good knowledge of Excel, Microsoft packages and Outlook Qualifications;
• AAT desirable
