Part-Time Finance Manager - Global Events Business - Kingston upon Thames - £55,000 FTE - 4 days per week

Your new company

An exciting global events consultancy in the Kingston upon Thames area are looking to recruit a part-time Finance Manager to join their rapidly growing team. This organisation has a sociable, vibrant atmosphere that would suit someone that enjoys working in a team, in a hybrid pattern. This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to progress and develop as well as having autonomy and ownership. Based out of smart, professional offices with excellent transport links and parking, this role could be 4 days per week, or 5 days on flexible, reduced hours.


Your new role

Reporting into a professional, passionate Chief Operating Officer, this role will have scope to progress as you develop. You will be responsible for Management Accounts, month end accruals, prepayments and deferred income, and cashflow monitoring. Payroll and transactional finance is outsourced so you will oversee the work of the bookkeeping company. You will also be responsible for reconciliations, analysis, and producing and presenting insightful commentary reports to the board.


What you'll need to succeed

You will be ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA qualified, bringing a proven track record in management accounting, month end reporting and analysis. You will have exposure to commercial accounting, and bring exceptional written and verbal communications skills interacting with stakeholders at all levels. Experience on Access software is desirable but not essential, strong Excel skills are essential.


What you'll get in return

You will receive a competitive salary of £55,000 FTE, around £44,000 in take home pay, depending on experience. You will have the opportunity to work 5 days per week on reduced hours, or 4 days a week. The company operates on a hybrid work pattern, and there is some parking available.
