Your new role
You'll be joining the business in an exciting Group Accountant capacity with a Statutory Reporting bias. You'll be assisting with the preparation of the statutory accounts for the Group, preparing a variety of complex reconciliations and liaising with external auditors, as well as acting as a point of contact in central finance for overseas managers for general support, including providing accounting advice, responding to ad-hoc queries and information requests.

You'll be given the opportunity to support in the finance system implementation project, as well as providing cover to the wider group finance team as required alongside various ad-hoc projects within finance & accounting.

What you'll need to succeed
This is a hugely varied and exciting role, well suited to someone with a strong financial accounting and reporting background.

You will be ideally ACA or ACCA qualified, and this would be suited to someone with a strong grounding in practice looking for their first or second move into industry.

You will be a self-motivated and well-organised individual who has a strong attention to detail and a sound technical knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP reporting standards. You'll have a strong ability to provide practical solutions to complex accounting challenges, with a reliable and resilient nature to be able to overcome those challenges.

Desirable traits/background (non-essential but favourable):

• Experience of finance systems implementation
• SAP (general ledger) system experience
• Experience of having worked in a multi-national/multi-currency environment
