Beacon Hill has teamed up with a non-profit in Washington, DC and are looking to find a Junior Accountant to join their team. This position will report to the organization's Controller. This person will assist the accounting department while learning valuable accounting skills. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Review all invoices and check requests for accuracy and relevant authorization
• Process check requests, wire transfers and ACH payments
• Maintain AP vendor files (address, W-9, etc.)
• Prepare monthly analysis of AP accounts
• Prepare monthly analysis of AR accounts and create/send out relevant invoices
• Prepare all cash receipts, cash disbursements and other entries for month-end
• Reconcile corporate credit cards monthly and maintain activity spreadsheet
• Correspond with vendors/employees and respond to inquiries
• Assist team with month-end, year-end closing, and audit activities
