Regulatory Reporting Analyst | Solihull- mostly remote working | Permanent | £40,000 - £48,000

Your new company
Our client are an established and well-funded retail bank who are looking to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join their head office in Solihull on permanent basis.

Your new role
As the Regulatory Reporting Analyst, your main purpose will be to prepare and perform analytical reviews on a number of regulatory returns, support external statutory reporting and controls testing, and use your initiative to improve processes via production or data sources within the business.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Prepare returns to a high standard of accuracy
• Perform analytical review
• Escalate changes or concerns to reviewing manager
• Be the owner of the returns from production to submission
• Present to relevant stakeholders for submission approval highlighting changes in reporting or key drivers in movements
• Build great working relationships with business areas who provide data
  
  

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you will be a Part Qualified or Qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant, preferably with pervious regulatory reporting and/or financial services experience. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver reports to key stakeholders confidently In addition to this, you will be able to manage your time effectively, take accountability and deliver to tight deadlines.
