The Role

This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounts payable professional looking for a steppingstone into further bookkeeping and accounting duties. Reporting to the Financial Controller, some typical duties will involve:

Your Profile

Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier invoice approvals and entry across multiple group entities
- Managing and processing up to 50 outgoing payments daily
- Weekly payment runs
- Checking bank account details on payment runs
- Bank reconciliations and processing bank transactions
- Credit card processing and payments
- Preparation of selected companies to trial balance stage
- Other ad hoc duties as requested

Your Profile
You will have a background in Accounts Payable and/or Bookkeeping with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:
- 2+ years of previous accounts payable experience in Australia (preferably working for a multi-entity business within a group)
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, MYOB, and Xero)
- Accurate data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Team player with a positive can-do attitude
