The Role

The role of the Assistant Accountant reports directly to the CFO in this close-knit team. You will have full ownership of the transactional work, including the payroll right through to assisting with the month-end.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

Duties

· Full function Accounts Payables

· Full function Accounts Receivables

· Daily cashflow reporting to tight deadlines

· GST, FBT and PAYE

· Month-end journals and accruals

· Intercompany transactions and reconciliations

· Full function Payroll for 45 staff - mix of salary and waged

· Ad-hoc reporting

· Ad-hoc duties as required

Skills & Experience

• You will be deadline driven with proven hands-on experience in a similar role where you were processing transactional right through to month-end
• Full function payroll experience
• Ability to take ownership of the role
• Strong communication skills written and verbal
