Accounts Payable Clerk | 3-Months Contract | Hybrid | Central London | Possible contract extension/permanent opportunities for the right candidate | up to £180 Per day

Due to high growth rates, FTSE 250 specialist asset management company are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team on a contract basis. The successful candidate must be keen to pursue a career in finance with a particular interest in developing understanding of the Accounts Payable Function.

This is the perfect role for someone looking to enter the world of Accounting at a foundation level as there are opportunities for contract extensions or offers for permanent employment.

The overall responsibility of this role is as listed below:

  • Processing of invoices into ERP system
  • Managing process to ensure invoices are sent for review and approval
  • Working with teams across the company to resolve issues preventing the processing and payment of invoices
  • Obtaining and reconciliation of supplier statements monthly

The ideal candidate will have a solid base of accounting functions and will also take part in the day-to-day responsibilities below:

  • Managing the accounts payable mailbox
  • Processing invoices from the mailbox into Concur Invoice
  • Processing invoices in Concur Invoice
  • Managing supplier queries
  • Reconciling supplier statements
