My client is a rapidly expanding business within the FMCG / Food Manufacturing ideally situated in North Leicester.

As part of their continued expansion, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a Management Accountant / Finance Manager to join the business on a full time and permanent basis.

Reporting into the Managing Director this is a key role for the business taking the day to day management of all aspects of the company's finances on Xero.

• Assist MD with Budget creation and monthly management accountants with commentary on variances
• Reviewing metrics and KPI's to monitor both business and products performance with analysis - Costings, Margins, Sales, Pricing, Stock
• Management of company bank accounts ensuring smooth company cash flow and providing cash forecast
• Management of companies ledgers PL / SL / GL with associated closing at month end and control fixed asset register
• Raising / processing, journals, accruals and pre payments, completion of returns such as VAT
• Assist with the day to day running of a small but busy finance / admin team.
• Improve company processes, controls and systems.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years experience gained in a similar rounded finance position with experience gained across financial / management accounting and a hands on approach as required with a SME Business.This client is equally open to QBE, Part Qualified and Qualified Candidates alike as long as suitable experience can be demonstrated.Study for AAT / ACCA / CIMA can be offered.

A good level of IT Literacy is essential to include MS Excel, previous Xero experience would be a major advantage.

Those currently working within practice but wishing to move to industry will be considered.
